Anyone else hate the 'instrument silhouette' logo?

it was introduced with live 6 if i remember correctly. what a mess. after the best of the live logos (imo) with live 5 - who ever decided to keep this as the going theme should be fired from the art department.

ableton has some of the best design around with all their other gear/symbols etc.

why this ongoing silhouette theme? please return to something like the live 5 look, or something - anything else. i don't like to see this every time i load up live. bad vibes.

I agree. It doesn't drive me nuts, but now that you mention it, I think you are right... Especially after three Ableton versions. It'd make more sense if that was the logo for just the Essential Instruments Collection.

You can replace the "Splash Screen" very easily on both PC and Mac...

ah well that's great that it can be changed. still doesn't excuse the fact that it's three generations of lame!
