It's not Wavelab feature wise, but give it a try..

apparently wave lab isn't far away.
Some one from steinburg posted on the cubase forum
mentioning that it was almost ready for beta testing.

+100. Took me awhile to get used to it coming from Wavelab myself, but the audiofile guys have created a really nice app. I use it for all my mastering business jobs, absolute steal at that price. Only downside is that they have a seperate app for batch processing, Sample Manager.

+ 1 for Wave Editor! At that price, it's a no-brainer. And Audiofile Engineering tech support is really good.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

Been looking all over for a mastering app - allmost thought I'd have to buy Logic suite for the sole purpose of mastering - not anymore
Waveeditor looks perfect - will buy as soon as I'm home where the internet connection is better than here in Berlin - where I'm confined to using available unprotected networks ;o)
More bass in the hihat

i love PEAK PRO 6.
and love the mastering edition suite plugin bundle it comes with...
could seriously not live without the Superfreq EQs anymore... and you can use them in any other apps, too. (as VST or AU, except the mastering compressor ;))

yo! i am not sure if it is part of the LE version... but try to get your hands on the bias masterperfectionsuite bundle... pure ACE!
you will die once you worked with the superfreq EQs, the ability of the Q settings are absolute mad... you can use it like a skalpel! unreal.

VSTs and AUs except the mastering compressor which only opens in Peak, they know why they did that!

Just FYI, Audiofile is developing a DEDICATED mastering app soon too. Not a lot of info yet, but my guess is that they focus more on CD assembly in the new app. Wave Editor is very detailed for creating CDs, but not the easiest use as a result. Easy enough once you get used to it though.

I used to use Peak Pro 6 and the Master Perfection Suite but honestly, I have much better plugins and there's little quirks in Peak that bothers me.

I'm very happy with Wave Editor and at 79$, WE is much more featured than Peak LE at 149$.
