What brand of backpack was the one ableton was selling...

Post by glitchrock-buddha » Thu May 28, 2009 8:27 pm

...in the on-line shop that had a picture of the AP40 in it?

I thought I remember someone mentioning it was a DELL or something or other, but I've searched and not found it.

thanks!

It was this one, branded by Ableton, i guess it's still avalable without the ableton branding on it.

I wonder what other backpacks will fit the apc40 +laptop +maybe a stand, i don't really like this one.

I checked while Ableton was selling them, and they said that this particular backpack is an uncomfortably tight fit to the APC40. I have no doubt that someone will soon come out with one that fits better.

Thanks guys.

If it's that tight, maybe it's not worth it. I'm actually hoping to be able to fit the Kore controller in it as well (With macbook pro of course).

I'm planning on getting one of these.

It will help out a great deal with my back problems and also doubles as security.

I just ordered a Big Namba Studio Backpack from www.nambagear.com

It's a bit larger than I'd like, but I'll need it to fit the Axiom 25 I picked up, my 17" laptop, external HD and Audio Kontrol1, plus any other extras.

I paid $119 from audiomidi.com thanks to their memorial weekend 15% off accessories deal. I would have used it this weekend if it had been in stock, but oh well.

Forgot to mention... there's pics showing it'll fit the new Akai APC40. That's still on my wishlist too, so it seemed like a smart way to go, since I know for sure everything will fit.

I also forgot to mention that from the video/pics they have on... you should still have room for the Kore Controller too.
