4.01 Render problem

Getting render errors with 4.01. First bar or so will be choppy, then everything afterwards will sound fine. I seem to remember seeing this problem posted here, but I couldn't find it when I looked again. This is a really annoying problem. Here is my setup/config:

G4 1ghz Aluminum, 1 GB ram, Panther 10.3.4

Render settings:

All off (normalize, analysis, etc.) 16 bit, 44.1khz.

When I tried rendering the same file at 16 bit, 48khz it was rendering without some of the plugins.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

try selecting a few bars before the start of the song in addition to the song itself. if your song starts on bar 1, select all and drag it over to bar 5, then make your render selection include everything starting at bar 1.
