Dream Gear

Post by DrXparaMental » Fri Jun 12, 2009 4:41 pm

Lately I have found myself drooling and dreaming over some WAY out of reach gear. Ever do that? Care to share? (your dream gear)

Lately I have been ogling a couple of things.

I just want a space to be able to create 24/7.

I HATE having my set in boxes, fucking kills me

I guess I want a lemur and a bunch of mics hooked up to some outboard gear to record all my shit

Absolutely! (on the roadies) Man is that ever HUGE on my list. I ripped something in my left shoulder last winter lugging around my gear and the shoulder is still not right. And it was a benefit at Christmas! :x I could really use some of that there illegal cheap labor when gigging. The sacrifices I have made for my country...

also, one of these PLEASE. The difference here being is that I'm gonna have this one for certain some day.

I'm good about budgeting so I can usually get the 'Dream Gear' I lust after, but next on my list is probably a nice Marshall or Orange tube head and 4x12 cabinet.
Live rig: HP DV6604nr, Live 8, MAudio 1814, Virus Snow, Waldorf Blofeld
Additional Studio Equipment: Nord Lead 3, Moog Voyager, MPC2000xl, TR-808, TR-707, Soundcraft FX16, x0xb0x, Paia Phatman

I use one, it rocks, although I use it on melody-side Stick since I've never delved into MIDI bass.

What I would really like to know is how it translates "slap attack". The GI-20 (remember this conversation a year or two ago Tone?)is pretty sloppy. It works well and I can use it to a great effect but it's not accurate enough when it comes to transcription in all the different attack modes. Velocity is not quickly enough defined among the controls it has.

BTW, can't see Tone Deft's picture.
