So I got the first Akai APC40 in New Zealand...

Haha, some of you may know I went on a mad mission to try and secure an Akai APC40 - ordering one from Nova Musik in the states in hope it'd reach me before New Zealand's official shipment arrives (sometime in July) - but when Akai didn't fulfil their order to Nova, Nova didn't have any choice but to advise me that it'd be further delayed.

Naturally, I was gutted, I've been waiting quite some time for this - and a lot of my friends know it.

Funnily enough, at my Birthday the other week to my surprise I was given what could be New Zealand's first APC40... haha, see for yourself..








Hahaha, the faders are a bit shaky, and sometimes the pots are a bit sticky - but it definitely delivers the goods!

Much respect to the APC40 Cake Crew & let's just hope Nova get some more APC40's delivered so that I can get my [actual] APC40 soon!
