making music into smaller clips (in arrange window apple j) and then working within the pieces will always
help you phrase your feeling. i can predict movements and even change songs
gestures through out the dynamics in each clip that is consolidated. then develop
each part individually for deeper construction while arranging.

this tip is useful inside of the arrange window after you have your session clips recorded from
the clip view to the arrange view. if they are all mixes of the clips from session view
it can be challenging to develop you changes if there are hundreds of clips all over the arrange
window. sometimes my clip count can be in the thousands while developing a song.
consolidating is now allowed in real time in 8 as well. I love LIVE :P, but was there since 5 i think.
its been one of my favorite things. hope it helps!

consolidating is definitely crucial! especially for building ideas.....annoys me that you can't consolidate in session view say if u wanna change the pitch of an audio track before slicing to midi.....you always have to drag to arrangement view
