APC 40 Customization with Bome's Midi Translator

APC 40 Patrons,

Help me crack this one.

The functions he's using seem to WAY too good to pass up. I am new to Bome's Midi Translator but after having bought it and (as per a comment suggested) I can't figure out even how managed to program the presets in spite of the default mappings!

I'm hoping to maximize my creative control through my controller just as the guy in the video has accomplished. Fellow APCists, help shed some light on this one.

Can this be achieved through mere BOME MT script?

If so, how did he accomplish to "break the link" between with the APC and Live with the "ring" still there?

He managed to get LED feedback!

Is Max/MSP in the scheme?

Am I just a "fucking moron"?

If you do Max you can download the monomulator patch from

That will have all the info you need to turn lights on and off, receive MIDI and what not...

Don't have bomes. so i can't help you there
