APC 40 fader gone screwey - gig tonight!

I've been happily gigging on my APC 40 ever since release day and have had no problems until today, and I have a big gig tonight! Fader number 8 will, when assigned, only move half of the designated range. It feels fine physically, and it has nothing to do with my assignment setup as I've disabled the remote sync and tried to use it for track 8 vertical fader and it does the same thing. It also makes assigning other devices a huge pain in the ass as it will randomly send out values during Learn and thus reassign itself randomly. Help!
