I just got my upgrade for Ableton Live 8 Suite last night and installed it on my Windows XP desktop with 2GB of RAM. I was prompted to download and install the 8.4 update, 500MB download, wow.
Anyhow, I got that all squared away and then started to install the various instruments, session drums etc. However, Woodwind would not install. It's a biggie, a file over 2GB. I want to make sure I have everything installed for my version 8 suite. It says that the file is corrupted, yet I am dragging it direct from the CD to Ableton, says something about it being created by an earlier version? Has anyone else encountered this problem? I thought it might be because the file was so fricken large, but really I don't know. Would appreciate advice.
