I had a major scare the other day when I was playing a show, right after I installed Live 8.04. The fucking thing just kept on crashing. Every time I opened it and did a sound check, the ting would crash after a few minutes. I was using a few VSTs and had 2 audio inputs for guitars. I decided to try deleting the audio input channels as there was an amp there for me to use luckily. This stopped the crashing. But WTF?
V 8 still scares the shit out of me for Live use, it's so damn crashy. You need to be really sure of your setup before playing, anything new you introduce could very well cause crashes. For me all I wanted was to have audio inputs, but Live wasn't having it when I was playing VSTs. And there was nowhere near cpu overload.

8.04 actually is better running SAMPLETANK for me. i would use 4 sounds on one midi channel. it wouldn't work well previously on 8. but, now it works fine.

did you have amplitube? it kept crashing on me, and then someone else here said that if they have any clips in the arrange view it makes amplitube crash. I tried that and it worked. well worked in that i can use it live, but not in actual songs easily

Sigh.

Well they haven't gotten the share feature done yet so I'd assume this is still in beta too
