I'm running Live 8.0.3 on a Macbook Pro w/OS 10.4.11, 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 gig of RAM.
I often render many edited files, one at a time, each usually 2 - 5 minutes in length. I find that since I've been using Live 8, the application freezes (I get the pinwheel running forever) after the 3rd or 4th rendering. I don't do these in rapid succession; there's often many minutes in between rendering. It seems to make no difference. Also no difference if there are any plugins, or what track they're on.
My rendering settings are:
Render Master track
No normalize
No render as loop
WAV
no conversion to mono
sample rate 44100
bit depth of 32
triangular dither
no analysis file
no video
If anyone can help me, I'd appreciate it. I searched and didn't find anything that seemed to apply.
