I bought Live about a week ago and so far it seems pretty cool, it's doing what I want it to, although I do get the ocassional crash, where Live just unexpectedly quits out (I am running a G3 500 Powerbook OS9.2, 384 MB RAM, 200 MB allocated to Live). I noticed that 90% of the time it quits is when I am adding a scene, either by using the menu or hitting command-I. I am doing this while the the app is not even playing any audio. Like if I just boot up a new set, and hit add scene about 5 times in a (and not fast either, adding a scene, pausing, adding a scene, etc) without ever hitting play or anything, at about the 5th or 6th insert scene command it just quits out. This is very annoying as I have to restart my computer to get Live to boot up again. Is there a max to how many scenes you can have? Right now I have 20 scenes in a column, and 8 tracks across and usually play about 5-8 scenes at one time, with very few FX. My CPU reads 40-50% usage when it quits out. Ideally I would like to add a lot more scenes, so I can have 9-10 songs to play back in a live situation.
Any insight would be appreciated...
