noob silly question. is it ok to run 2 different versions...

...of ableton on one pc? any issues with shared folders etc? licence issues? any clashes?

i'm currently using 5 which i find very very stable. i've recently become interested in live 8 but as 8 is still relatively new i'd prefer to keep 5 for live usage.

seriously, i've been using pcs for 15 years and i have no idea about these things. i've always upgraded any software, clean installs.

i always keep multiple versions on my computer just in case the latest version is unstable, i can use the previous.. but there have been numerous changes since version 5.. currently, some people still have a few bugs w/ 8.04 but you can give it a try.. but be aware that if you do try 8 and like the many improvements since 5 and start working on it, you won't be able to open them in version 5 should you find it too buggy..

do you have an install folder location option for this? or will it just overwrite?
