Hey Fingerprince, hope all is well. Glad to see you have a new album out though I can't seem to get cd baby to play me your tracks.

Haven't been doing a great deal myself of late but am planning on devoting some time to it shortly. My last track was unlistenable so never finished it. Will let you know when i've done something.

Keep up the good work

I quite like experimental electronic music as it's the home of unheard sounds and seeing as people spend a lot of money on synthesisers, we shouldn't really want to recreate standard noises.

How do you mean "impressive"?

Less going on, so things stand out more? or perhaps more spatial effects/clever panning?

I'm doing music along similar lines to fingerprince so would really appreciate some in-depth feedback and suggestions.

Me again :)
I would be really interested in why you say more impressive
It might be a key to something I can include on my next cd
All views are welcome, I'm just not sure what you mean
and thanks sijarvis - nice comments again
(have you got live 8 yet?) - share feature still in beta I see.
Some would say live 8 is still in beta lol
Cheers :)

No still not upgraded to 8, a bone of contention at the moment, I don't think it's far off being stable enough though not quite there yet.

So yes, I would agree, live is still in beta.

Not sure if the share feature is anything like ready either but we could always post files on the net and do it the long way round.

I've just written a piece that has two synths in and it sounds like there's hundreds of parts going on, and it's all down to some very odd sequenced parameter looping of which Live is superb at.

I'm looking to do a track that has just one synth part that sounds like a multi-timbral monster.

What soft synths do you have btw? my most used is Reaktor Spark, which is a paid ensemble by NI founder Stephan Schmitt, though I also have a few other NI items and am very much starting to enjoy a freebie called "Atlantis".

If we are going to collaborate then we should really try and get some similar items on our computers to cut down on the amount of audio file swapping, which could otherwise end up being quite large.
