When not in arrangement mode and you try to record onto a slot while a clip or clips are playing back, the monitor button for that track disarms itself just as recording is supposed to begin. This does not happen if recording originates from the record button in the slot to be recorded. In other words, let's say you're not in arrangement mode, no clips are playing and the first thing you hit is the record button for the slot you want to record to, it will work. It just won't work if you want that track to jump into record mode following another clip or clips that are already playing while not in arrangement mode. This does not seem to make logical sense. If anyone can shed some light on this, please do.
