couple of things:
- when using Kontakt as a VSTi in Live, if I decide to delete an instrument (highlight it then hit delete key, as usual), it actually deletes the entire plugin and the midi track. Have to Undo and watch the whole thing load up again.
Not cool.
- One instrument I loaded from one of the Kontakt discs (one of the Absynth synths) pegged my CPU at 80%+, just by pressing one note, subsequently crashed Live ("....unexpectedly quit - would you like to submit a report").
Not cool.
I'm sure there will be more nafs to report, it was my first night experimenting with both apps playing together.
Oh, and Abletons, please bring back the I/O selector to the Arranger View as it was before. It's driving me nuts to have to switch over to Session window in order to select a recording input (physical/002R or Reason, or Master Out/Resample, etc.). Makes no sense whatsoever...

1. go into kontakt's options, and in 'general', click on 'capture keyboard from host'. i do that by memory, so not quite so sure, but you'll find it.
2. don't use kontakts reverbs. if the instrument you loaded contains some, remove them. they eat A LOT of CPU. i'm pretty sure this is the reason you're having this CPU prob.
