Can Live really do this?

Hey guys, I am thinking about buying Live but I have a question. I saw a video online where BT remixed an Earth Wind and Fire track on the fly. Is this really possible with Live? Or is he just that good where he can mix stuff quickly. This kind of thing really interests me, but I don't want to spend the money and then find out it is terribly hard to do.

Can Live really take a song and beat match it to a loop perfectly?

I watched BT do that live right after EW&F played the M-Audio booth at Winter NAMM. I was in the front row as that video was shot.

Yes...Live can do that on the fly.

Yes..BT is also that good.

But, yes, Live can do that...at Summer NAMM last month I watched a guy remix Sweet Home Alabama (among other things) on the fly.
