Ableton discounting???

i was just talking to a dealer, who let slip ableton had revised their prices, not sure weather he was trying to make a sale or was it true?? has anybody heard the same??
i know native instruments are discounting/doing deals, is it worth waiting a few weeks befor buying?? looking to get al8 suite.

50% discounts in poland FTW. (but it was a lil bit more pricey than on the abe site before)

I would think the only one who can answer this is the actual Ableton employees who use this forum...And I highly doubt they're gonna speak up about anything in regards to future discounting. Imagine about to make a sale on a $ 20,000 car to a potentialy interested buyer & then tell him though if he waits it out a month the price is dropping $3,000---IN FRONT OF YOUR BOSS
