Damn, I didn't apply to Ableton this year because I thought with the recession they wouldn't be hiring. Now I'm doing a PhD instead. I guess I have to hope they still want people in 3 years time :?

We've already been down that route, ended with a few guys obsessing about a certain abe staff member, and one of the few deleted threads on this forum.

I'd love to start an Australian programming office for you! Subversion+SSH should do the trick? :) I'll even buy my own big exercise ball so it's almost like being there.

I hope you guys are paying Henke a performance royalty each time that clip is aired. I'd put money on that FM'd ping pong background dingle jingle being his. ;)

Why didn't I had the patience to learn to program.

Then I would program for Ableton :P and at home I would make really good expensive Iphone apps.

Here's to drinking from the

Best Quotes: (meaning you just can't make this shit up...)

"I am a scientist. I have a degree in food chemistry."

"We even have a grandfather here." (followed by nervous chuckle.) "He's seen A LOT!"

Let's play "How many times can you say "Good Code" in 60 Seconds?" !!

"We also have what we call "the web team"."

"You can do features yourself!"

"The planning has the opposite direction of what I have seen in other companies...they are making you slower."

"You can come and go as you wish." Shortly afterward, "Of course, as we get closer to a release, things have to get done!" (AKA she loves me, she loves me not...)

"Music software that people dance on when you go clubbing on Saturday night...to work on that is so much more sexee."

"When I did my internship here, I bought an Ableton sweater."

"Of course Ableton gets free tickets to most concerts...but that's just gimmicks...what's really cool is you get lunch."

"We have a couple of occasions...where we announce goals for the year," (and then with emphasis indicating he's about to make the real point, "There's usually pizza and bear!!"

Further observations...

The obligatory Foosball scene...how many times have we seen that in a software company romantic comedy?! *sigh*

OMG, they have a chick developer! NFW!!!!!!

Someone is sitting on what looks like a green version of this:

(which is cool, because I didn't know it came in colors!)
