anyone listened to UKRuss's CD 'the mercury dilemma'?

Post by SubFunk » Wed Jul 29, 2009 8:25 am

man i like it, it's so chilled and beautiful... have been listen to it over and over again... really like his mood and textures and great guitar elements...
i am usually not a great fan of the guitar / electronica mix... but this one works for me.

just thought i give it a thumbs up.

axel

EDIT: p.s. don't forget to make those UKRuss groove extractions of your drumming and share it... :)

Could you link UKRuss's site in this thread so people can go check him out?

Cheers

Wow, thanks man! Really glad you like!

For those that haven't received yet, they are coming...I'm just waiting for some more to be burnt off, then they will be on their way. (It's coming Salty!)

You can check out the tracks at my sites in my sig. But the CD is worth it's weight in gold of course! :D

So, if you want one... I still have some left, just PM your address. 8)

Not going to ask how you know that Alex...But I'll take your word for it. 8)

Cheers Danzel! The last track is a 20 min live set I did in London back in April, features mainly the tracks that are on the EP but in a live situation:

Intro
All Our Guitars Are Now
Jelly
Four-Oh
Drugs Are Like That

Drugs are like that features a sampled conversation about the dangers of drugs between two pre-teens in 1950s america, taken from an old public information film I found on the US national archive site, hilarious stuff.
