So I'm using Traktor Pro 1.1.2 and Ableton 7.something on my Vista laptop, memory, space, CPU no worries.
I have a Vci-100 connected as well as my Axiom 61, which the Axiom is mapped both in Live and Traktor Pro, yet when I change a value on the Axiom (such as moving a level, or a knob) it crashes Live instantly. But at least it give an errour message (the programme is going to crash type message) before it dies.
Not that I'm really trying to use my Axiom to control both at one time, but thinking a that if I was trying to control one loop volume and the level on say "B" deck or "C" deck that I would be able to do that instead of using both hands.
I upgraded the midi on the VCI to 2.2 (djtechtools), but the firmware is still 1.2
Haven't done any type of upgrades (if even available) to the Axiom.
Other hardware is a Presonus Audiobox that is working fine. I was suggested at Guitar Centre that I remove the USB from the Axiom (disconnect it) and just use the midi in/out.
The other idea is that it might be Vista, and I should switch to MacOS and probably wouldn't have this problem, or buy another PC (MacOS) and that would also fix the problem, but at a much greater cost.
