APC40 "Launching clips question"

Hello everyone...i am kind of new on Ableton and even newer with the APC40 so i have a question and correct me if i am wong on this:

When you launch a clip and start playing with it, lets say, tweaking the knobs and stuff, is there a way this track lane stays selected (so you can continue playing with the knobs) while you launch other clips from other track lanes? (it auto selects the track lane from the next clips i launch)

If there is a way it would be cool, i would like to be able to tweak or modify some parameters from the current playing/selected clip while i bring other clips on. maye some setting on the Ableton?

Check the preferences>record warp launch>select on launch>off
In Live 7 it's on page 83 of the manual, 7.4.1
