No, unfortunately in live 6 it is only possible to record guitars and pianos.

Since Live 7 you also can recording drums.

The best -IMHO- new feature of live 8 is that now I can record my theremin and my synthesizers.

But Ableton has announced that it will be possible to record vocals within Live 9
