I'm trying to use my Yamaha E203 to work with Ableton live recieving midi information.. but it isn't happening.
I have a Ak1 interface, i connected the midi cable from out my keyboard to in my AK1 and in ableton i went to rpeferences ->midi sync and turned "audio kontrol in" ON (track and remote) and in out audio kontrol 1 too (TRACK AND REMOTE). In the "Control Surface" i choosed "none" because the keyboard isn't one of those... but still i picked in ak1 and out ak1. I armed the midi track and everything, but it isn't recieving any midi info :S. With my PC Keyboard i have no problem, but when i press a key in my yamaha, the midi track doesnt receive the info..
I have windows XP and ableton 7

same problem. dont understand what preferences i exactly need to connect novation reMote 37 to Audio Kontrol 1 via midi cables, not usb. anyone?
