VCM 600 help

I've recently bought a Vestax VCM 600 midi controller but can't find much information of help on it.

does anyone use one on here with live 8? if so can you help me sort out a few problems a having?


i can't get my head around the effects section. I was wanting to know if i can assign the six rotary pots to different controls on different plug in's on different tracks.

i.e.

can i assign them to control 6 different peranmeters on say, a reverb plug in on channel 1 and then six different parameters on a bit crusher on channel 2? and then flip between the 2. etc.

I map the FX buttons (x8) to a 'blue hand', which allows the buttons to 'grab onto' a rack in particular channel x8 ( or any other specific device) on one or several racks in one channel, then the 8 knobs auto map to the 8 macro knobs in each corresponding rack or the predefined mappings embedded in live for the vcm as they selected. Make sense?
