my live 8.05 crashes every time i start a new live set. sometimes it's an "ordinary crash", sometimes, it doesn't really crash, but the new live set opens in an extremely slow way, and finally, either doesn't recognize my sound card,( although it does see the card in live preferences), or crashes totally later on. i use MOTU ultralite, and mac dual intel xeon with leopard on it. i use NI guitar rig3, EZ drummer, Addictive Drums, Massive, Antares vocal tools, as my VST plugins. i try to keep my rig very simple, and i like minimal very much. i don't really know why it is happening, but it is very annoying. and one more thing: when i am for example using i tunes, and then, at the same time i am starting ableton, sound from i tunes is ceasing completely, i have to restart my computer and the card as well. basically, every time i want to switch to another live set, i have to restart the computer and the card. have You guys heard about similar issue before?
my MOTU has been updated to the newest version. i love ableton so much, but restarting the whole thing every 20 minutes it's really putting me off my studio. please help.
