Live Help in Seattle

Post by Gilyslas » Fri Oct 02, 2009 4:20 am

Needing some one on one help in Ableton 7. I'm new to the game and would love to have a quick
crash course. Mostly interested in using Live in live performance. I would be willing to
pay for the time. I'm in Seattle. Please email me at: [email protected]
Thanks,
Gil

Gil

Good luck I've been asking the same thing for two years in Seattle

I learn enough to where I quit asking people

Live is a funny thing, its so unique that nobodies does it the same

Seattle has a Live user group that meet once a month but I never really learned to much there. They mostly talked about Live Pack I did want to buy.

You tube helped me tons. The Live's Manual Helped Tons, and this forum continues to help.

Lots of people told me what to get but never how to use it.

Give me a call 206 790 0279 before 7pm PST as Im in Chicago currently

Ill answer your question the best I can. The more specific you get with a question the better I can answer it.

My expereince with live is one question leads to another and to another. Keep answering one by one and you be rocking in no time.

Peace Alex

i live over by port townsend.
try my method.
start screwing around with it, only using the manual when you get in a jam.
keep playing around.
spend lots of time.

now read the manual.
go back to playing around.
spend lots of time.
check out online resources.
go back to messing around and having fun and seeing what everything does.
spend lots of heads down time.

this method works well for me :)

thank you.

Email sent. Actually like teaching people DAWs.
Did it a bit with Logic years ago, and Live for web page design as well. :)

Crap, I would have helped had I read the threads.... bleh!
Only occasionally am I too busy to spend a few hours going over Live with someone.
Can't really charge construction wages for lessons, so work does come first.
