How do I preview midi loops with Session Drums?

I'd like to be able to preview drum loops and grooves and hear them on the currently selected Session Drums rack, rather than the default preview midi voice I'm hearing? What am I doing wrong here? I hope I don't have to actually load the whole midi clip to hear it played with the drum voices. Any help?
