Vu-meter + noise reduction

Hi there,

1. I am looking for a vu-meter that shows me the lowest and the highest volume on my track. Can someone help me with a good plug? a free one would be appreciated.

2. I am also looking for a ''noise reduction'' plug; kind of like the one that you can find in Adobe Premiere (the movie editing software). It helps to clear the background.
