I love using Live, and more and more I realize it's the only software I need.
But I do miss Pro Tools' Audio Suite. It's where you select a waveform, choose your plugin and preview the effect. When you are happy, you press apply and Pro Tools switches the original waveform with a new rendered effected one.
It's sorta like freeze and flatten in one command, with the ability to preview the effect from the plug-in and not having to put it on the track.
Is that possible in Live? Or does it have to be RTAS plugins?
