Bass Popping/Clipping in loop based set
Bass Popping/Clipping in loop based set
Right I have already had a search around for some answers without much luck so here goes. Basically I am currently working on an Ableton Live set which is predominantly loop[some from loop packs some from my own tunes and some from mates tunes]. I have run a lot of the bass and melody lines through Sugar Bytes Effectrix to add interest etc. Now when I'm playing stuff back I'm getting a very odd pop every now and again mostly on the bass channel. It just sounds like a loud kick and the channel totally clips. Any ideas? Could this be something to do with Effectrix? Bear in mind I re-export all the loops with the Effectrix stuff on so I'm not running Effectrix itself anymore.

try upping your latency to the max (2048)
my guess is that it'll stop happening

No such luck.
Is it possible it could be to do with the use of the Effectrix VST?
Re: Bass Popping/Clipping in loop based set
seem to have solved it by putting the clips that have been processed through effectrix on the RAM and turning Hi-Q off.
