You should get one of those 'Buy me a drink' paypal donation buttons on your site, I think those are a great idea for people posting free content and tutorials.

Just wanted to comment on this guide:

I have a vaguely similar background to Tarekith:
From the Midwest, DJed for 15 years, played in bands, heavily inspired by the punk/DIY movement, toured (Warped Tour, indie tours, etc), thrown my own club nights, etc.

This guide is SPOT ON! What a great resource for new performers and DJs and an excellent reference for seasoned performers and DJs.
