Is it me or is Live 8 a mess?

I just finished a piece. and then imported the song out to an aif...

It was cut off and missing a track... I go back into the project and now the midi track will not play correctly. It did before, but not any longer.

HEY ABLETON!!!! THIS SUCKS!!!! I want my upgrade money back and I want to go back to 7 where I get work accomplished rather then work ruined!!!!!

which exact version of Live 8 have you been using on which OS?

What exactly changed on the MIDI track? Can you still reproduce the problem?

It seems to have lost the connection between the midi commands in the clip and the Operator settings. I went back in and set the clip to different settings and this time they stuck. I can't get it to do it again. Sorry.
