Anyone had this problem with live on a Mac?

I have a macbook and live 6.0.11.

Whats happening is, say i am working on a song and i close the lid on my laptop, when i re-open the lid, the sound does not work! Even when i try and watch a youtube video or play anything with sound, the sound just does not work.

I am not sure if this a computer OS problem, or an Ableton live 6 problem however? All i know is that my ableton has not been working well and is freezing a lot......

Any help would be great!

with inbuilt soundcard or external audio interface?

Which version of Mac OS X? Any details about you config would help!
