Any luck for Live 7 version for launchpad?

Ok, here's a simple one.

I was just wondering If we could hope a launchpad compatible version of Live7 in a near future?

I'm so pleased with the apc both on 8 and 7 which I mainly use for live gigs.
8 seems too heavy for my actual config, always had minors problems at end of my sets.

It says that on the page there... however - I can't get my launchpad to work with ver. 7.
It works great with the stripped down 8 version that comes with it - but can't get any of my old work in to it because there are too many effects/clips.
A bit disappointing.

Hopefully they get it working with 7 soon.

did you try the latest version of Live 7?

what version of Live ships with the Launch Pad?
edit - naturally it comes with Live 8 (Launch Pad edition whatever that means.)

Perhaps they mean that using the launchpad as a generic midi input device with 7 - rather than it's custom features that ship in the 'launchpad version 8' of Live.

Will be spending more time tonight toying with it!
