macbook pro 2.4, 2gb mem, version 8.0.5:
i have a session with ~24 tracks, synths and drum machines mostly (but not that many, battery is split out to a lot of audio ins) and not only can i not record ONE AUDIO TRACK on top of any of this regardless of buffer settings, interfaces or freezing tracks, but as of today when i export the project, it gets to 20% and live just shits on my life and closes. trying to record audio in just gives me endless beachballs and crashing in the first place, i had to bounce an instrumental and record all the vocals in an empty session.
i just bought live 8 to replace logic pro on my system. logic is cool but apple can't code track buffering for shit, the constant stopping made me finally want to ditch it. the band i work for uses live to make _everything_, needless to say i didn't anticipate having worse problems than i had with logic...
any suggestions?
