Max tutorials

Post by synnack » Sun Nov 08, 2009 3:33 pm

I've seen quite a few threads lately about the need for tutorials and how quickly max newbies are getting frustrated with M4L.

Though the built-in tutorials are great, some people learn better by watching so I just wanted to pass these on. Not "Max for Live" but all these tutorials for max apply to basic M4L concepts.

the tutorial content in Live is incomplete, there are patches in some of the online lessons but more should be coming.

C:\Program Files\Cycling '74\MSP Tutorials

do the first 20 of those and you'll have a very good grasp on max and msp. take time to pull apart the help guides and explore related objects.

Thanks so much for this. I'm not discouraged as a new user, just excited to get started. I need some foundational info and these resources are perfect!!
