cpu issue

hello,

i am running 5 instrument tracks
and 2 audio tracks on a macbook pro
4gb ram - and the cpu is reaching up to 50 percent and glitching out

any ideas for a fix??

lay 1 track at a time (for wave) and then freeze the track.. you can always edit later

Hi Ritch,

which sample rate do you use, could it be you selected 96000 Hz? If so, please try a lower sample rate (eg 44.100 Hz/24 bit).
Also, try to set a larger audio buffer.
If the problem persists: which software instruments do you use?
