Is launchpad's user mode reassignable?

I am wondering that is launchpad's user mode reassignable when I use it as live's controller surface?
It seem that I cant change note or CC in user mode

I think without using the novation automap software its impossible to reprogram the functions of the usermodes. But Usermode 1 sends usual noteOn/Off messages and you could assign them by using the live midi mapping - pressing ctrl+m so on. The same is with the other mode, but I think mode 2 sends CC instead. I haven't tried it yet but usually you can use the free automap-SW where you have access to a virtual midiport called AUTOMAP midi. You can configer you assignmand in automap(like message-Type, value. midi Ch.) and activate in Lives preferences the Automap-Midi Port as you like (track and/or remote) and you'd better deactivate the script by choosing 'none' for controlsurface. You can use other hardware outs as well.
