Ableton Launchpad Edition and MP3

I am unable to import MP3s into Ableton launchpad edition. When I looked at comparison chart between the Launchpad Edition and full version, it said the LP Edition supported MP3s. Any advice?

update your Quicktime installation. Live uses that to crunch on audio.
