the keyboard shortcut for 'plug-in edit' only opens/closes and plug-in GUI windows that were already open, not the currently highlighted device, so they're no use - even with a controller that can mimic keystrokes. support say:
"thank you for your input regarding the hide/show plugin shortcut issue. It is on our internal wishlist already and we are working on it.
I can't tell you when or how we will change it exactly, though..."
anyone got a workaround? i'd like to use my Nocturn to open and close the edit windows of various plug-ins without touching the keyboard or mouse. i can navigate them, but not open/close properly...
?
Possible to open and close plug-in GUIs via controller?

it's worth putting in a support request for a solution, keep it on their radar...
