I wonder if any other M4L users have a problem with the step sequencer M4L midi object - it only runs for me in edit mode ! When in Live run mode it sits there doing nothing - ie it's losing the clock - i can see that the transportation patcher is the engine - it just stops when in run mode!!
Can anyone confirm that step sequencer is operating normally without editing ? + suggest solution !

Re: Stepless sequencer M4L
Ok
For the record
The culprit was a max file called 'transport' which is part of a distribution for ambisonics called sPan.lib
This was in a folder I believed to be outside the Max5 search path but which sneaked into the M4L path !
Hope that (hours of testing by elimination) helps anyone looking for a solution to the same gremlin

Re: Stepless sequencer M4L
how do you delete notes in the step sequencer? seems pretty pointless to me without the ability to delete

Re: Stepless sequencer M4L
you can turn down the probability to zero, that will "delete" them.
I've made a pitch scrollable sequencer for the monome using the live.step object which makes it possible to edit all the octaves, or have 127 drum sounds
on the monome, but I need to add some functions like multiple sequencing and stuff. I would also like to able to paste notes from midi clips directly in the step sequencer, Is there an option in the live api to dump notes from midi clips?
