was wondering which is better to use. Seems like they're pretty much the same..
One other question, how do I independently control volume/effects of each sound?
Impulse or Drumrack?

Re: Impulse or Drumrack?
For Impulse you adjust volume for each of the 8 samples as well as release time (extend so get a natural sounding hit) and other parameters. As far as I know a rack is just a bunch of Simplers where you'd put your samples into. Adjust whatever on that instrument.

Re: Impulse or Drumrack?
I think there is more options on drumrack.
Double click on the hit you want to adjust and then keep opening the folders for more parameters.
Good luck.
