Making Sampler kits from existing Impulse kits?

Post by Sivle » Sun Nov 29, 2009 8:03 pm

There is a current project I'm working on that has 7 impulse kits and I would love to move the samples within the kits to a new Sampler kit so I can have more modulation possibilities and a cleaner workflow. Any ideas how I can get those samples from the Impulse kits into Sampler?

I tried looking in the als but of course it only shows the midi clip and not the contained samples. Hmmm...methinks I may be hosed.

Make a clip with a note for each impulse slot.
Record it as audio to another track.
Split the audio clip on each hit.
Drop them in Sampler.

Or a simpler way is to just press the hot swap button in the Impluse slots and drag the samples into your Sampler.
