Logic Pro - Chord Memorizer: Similar Functionality in LIve?

Post by nonform_noise » Wed Dec 09, 2009 6:44 am

Hi,

After reading this great tutorial http://rurl.org/269s I was wondering if there is something similar to Logic's Chord Memorizer in Live/Max4Live?

With the chord midi-effect in Live I can only assign the same chord structure to all keys on the keyboard - right?. I'm looking for a way to assign one or several (to be triggered by velocity control) distinct chord structures to each key on the keyboard.

Thanks for advice
Alex
Laptop only: MacBook Pro, OS X 10.5.8, Live 8.1, Max For Live (trying to figure out how it works ... so far it sucks)

You don't need M4L, you can do it with Racks. You can set a cord plug on each key if you wish, and you can even have layers of cord plugs on each key zone. Search "racks" in the manual.

awesome thanks, didn't know that. will try out later today and see if I can achieve what I'm looking for with racks. i just feel a max app could be funny for that.
