Live UI top or flop ?

Seeing somebody here saying that Live`s skins are not good surprised me. There are 101 things I miss in Live but their design is for me absolutely top. Ableton is Armani of software for me, simple elegance with lot of intelligence behind. When I think of Cubase "puff barock" - pure insult to any esthetic sense (which was another factor I hated using it till SX came out) or Cakewalk Mcdonalds esthetics, Abletons Live was truly revolutionary. I am not Live fanatic too often aware of the limitations. But it is a fact that when I shift between SX and Ableton, Lives very look of the screen is a pleasing, the clarity, in an instant I know what I am going to do, while with the other I have to take some time, move things, slide "+""-" faders etc, etc.
I suppose Ableton knew what they were doing and decided that less is more (though right click would be good ) but when I think of it in the end I am more efficient thanks the simplicity of design.
It is pure curiosity why I ask this question, would like to know what other users think of Ableton esthetics and ergonomic, to me it`s design is No.1 of all software ( actually it is only program with esthetic appeal) .
