Low input signal from DJM800 through Profire 610

System:
2 Pioneer CD Decks
DJM800 Mixer
Profire 610
Intel i5 quad core imac with firewire 800

Problem:
I am trying to record a DJ mix from my gear into Ableton Live 7.0.1 through the Profire 610. I have the Digital Out cable from the mixer (at 48Khz) connected to the Profire 610 Digital In. When I arm the track in Ableton I get signal in but it's not at 0db. When I export my mix it is important that it's at 0 so that it doesn't sound quiet.

Any ideas? Has anyone else come across the same problem?
