Hi guys,
Is there a way to launch an instrument (softsynth or plug-in) from the APC 40 just like on the MCU where u press on device and the device launches on ur screen? So basically I want to get rid of the mouse when I want to activate an instrument in order to see it on my screen.
Anyone?

No but that sounds right up my alley. Jst going to comment to keep the post at the top so someone will comment on it. That is why we need touch screen monitor and laptops and the mouse will be come a thing of the past

For me this is quitte unbelievable. The APC40 offers more than it promises and I really love the machine A LOT. This functionality onther hand is a quitte basic function which is simply needed when mixing. Of course you have to use your ears buit seeing what you are doing in a synth or plug-in is really quitte unmissable for me.
Anyway, we'll see if this will be able in any update of the software.

nativekontrol.com the navigation mode of the apc series presets will let you do this.

Thanks man but i just looked at the videos and I don't need that much extras. I want to keep the APC as it was brought originally by Ableton and Akai. Only thing for now I miss is that device launching possibility.
