High Quality Recording of Snowstorm for Download

We got hit with quite a snowstorm on Christmas Eve in Oklahoma...set the record for December snow here, with 9-14 inches in about 5 hours. The sound of the wind was amazing, so I made a short recording of it. It's only about a minute because my windscreen was very quickly getting caked in snow.

It's a 88.2 kHz 32-bit file, recording with a Schoeps M/S setup. M/S recording has already been converted to stereo.

I think it will be interesting source material....useful in places where regular white/pink noise is used. The bit of windchimes will be interesting too.

Anyway, it's about 50 MB. Have fun!

White noise.... hmmm? it sounds more greyish to me. with a hint of brown. and a touch of green but more into red. very subtile but noticable. did anyone try to cancel it out with real snow?

I like it, though in reality there's not a lot of harmonic content to make it into much more than a snare or some similar noise based sound. Still, might try and make a lead out of it just to see what's possible.
